Welcome to the Langley Montessori School website.

We are so privileged to be able to participate in the success of this wonderful school.  Langley Montessori School and Early Learning Centre allows children to blossom under the guidance of an amazing group of dedicated teachers.  We have all seen the curiosity and desire to learn by the children fulfilled by the Montessori based educational opportunities provided by the Langley Montessori School and Early Learning Centre. 

The Board of the West Coast Montessori Society wish to extend a heartfelt thanks to the teachers and support staff of the Langley Montessori School and Early Learning Centre for all that they do.  We also wish to thank all the parents who graciously provide their time and skills to help make our school successful.  You are integral to the success of the children at our school.

Current Board

Chair - Richard Kirby Rick graduated from SFU with a Business Administration Degree and a minor in Economics.  He has one daughter that attends LMS and a son that will be starting in the fall of 2011.   Rick is the Sr. Vice President for Westower Communications which designs, fabricates and installs communication sites through Canada and the USA.  He enjoys golfing, skiing, fishing and construction.

Vice Chair - Dr. Angela Busletta Dr. Busletta was born in Alberta and completed her medical studies in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Alberta. She moved to Langley in 2000 and works out of Langley Memorial Hospital. She has 2 children enrolled in the Langley Montessori School.

“I am fortunate to be able to work with so many amazing people that contribute to the success of our school.  My children love going to the Langley Montessori School and have had opportunities that would have never been possible in the public school system.  I am very thankful for these opportunities for my children.”

Secretary - Michele Maurer With a background in couple and family therapy, Michele works as a clinical supervisor for a Child, Youth and Young Adult Mental Health program in Fraser Health. Michele brings 10 years' experience working with non-profit organizations.  Michele’s family has been part of Langley Montessori School for seven years.  Among the contributions to our school, Michele has volunteered with the Gala for several years, has been a member of the Parent Support Group for five years, including two years as President, and has served on the West Coast Montessori Society Board of Directors since spring 2010.

Treasurer - Don Chow Don completed his professional accounting designation from the Certified General Accountant Association and is a graduate of B.C.I.T.  He has 3 children attending Langley Montessori and is thrilled and honored to have the opportunity to be associated with the school. The environment provides a setting for our children to thrive to learn and succeed with confidence each and every day. Don is the Chief Financial Officer for the Trotman Automotive Group which provides automotive products and services for the manufacturers of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Toyota and Hyundai.
